THE PROCESS:

We can work with customer supplied images. Naturally the better the quality image, the better the results. Also, since we normally feature details of the car as background, it is helpful if you can provide close-ups of the car's features.

The more images we have to work with, the more design variations we can deliver. We'll be happy to coach you ~ just call or email.

Bill Bravo creates photographic portraits of classic automobiles that are custom-designed expressly for the owner of the car. An article about Bill's work in the Allentown Morning Call describes his work as follows.

Bill has exhibited his work at a number of high-end automotive events along the east coast including the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance and the Elegance at Hershey.

He has received commissions as far as Florida, Texas, and California and has an increasing number of patrons with extensive car collections. He has also received commissions for portraits of custom motorcycles, vintage airplanes, and boats.

Bill is proud to be affiliated with the AACA Museum in Hershey Pennsylvania. His portraits of cars in the museum collection have been used by the for marketing and other purposes. Bill has been contributing to the Gala Silent Auction since 2009.

Another great institution Bill is associated with is the America on Wheels museum in Allentown Pennsylvania which has been a home for Bill's portraits in it's gallery space as well the museum store. Bill has been designing their annual gala invitations since 2011 and is proud to be included in a plaque honoring supporters on the museum's fifth anniversary.

Bill's creative career began when he returned to college in 2000 to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design at Kutztown University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2003. He then honed his skills as an award winning graphic artist working for a large ad agency based in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley.

Bill continues to accept commercial design projects, now focused almost exclusively for automotive businesses, services, and institutions.

Bravo creates photographic portraits of classic automobiles for his clients with the same care and attention to detail that a portrait photographer or painter would devote to a human subject. The cars are all photographed outdoors, and the portrait designs are created in Photoshop. He'll remove background clutter, and then select certain details of the car as a new background. The result is a studio-like portrait that tastefully combines the up-close details one might only see when viewing the car in person…. "It's all about finding that critical detail that tells more about the story of the car," Bravo says.

Bill prefers to photograph cars in a large parking lot so he can move freely around the car shooting both from a distance and close-up.
