This large poster was created to commemorate the recreation of chassis #503 using the fully restored #501 as a model for the project. Incorporated in the poster are selected pages from a book about the storied racing career of #501 .
The original owner of this very rare 1915 Peerless owned a number of cigar companies. This poster was commissioned by the restoration company for presentation to the current owner and was designed to look like a cigar box. The inserted images are a combination of details from the meticulous restoration as well as graphics from a number of the actual cigar companies owned by H.D. Hackman, the original owner.
This poster was commissioned by the owner as an expression of appreciation for the restoration company's superb efforts resulting in a series of important awards for this exceptional car.
